All bids shall be labeled as 2022 LEVEE MAINTENANCE PROJECT.  

Work performed under this contract will consist of the following:

Providing all materials and labor to remove existing 16-inch pipe, pilings, and a level gauge from the Coweeman levee, install 16-inch Tideflex check valve, and construct rip rap bank at the Elks Pump Station site; construct temporary cofferdams , dewater the working area, and clean out and abandon-in-place existing 48-inch pipe with grout, demolish and abandon-in-place existing concrete vault, including slide gate, and blast and recoat existing above-grade 30-inch discharge pipe at the Baker Way Pump Station site; and remove and waste haul existing 18-inch pipe at the Dike Road Outfall; site restoration, and all other work as specified herein and as shown on the drawings .
